Staying Safe.
Staying Healthy.

As an organization that supports food and agriculture in our community, The Good Acre falls into the critical services sector. We are open during the pandemic and we’ve been implementing safety protocols that keep staff, volunteers, makers, farmers, and community safe from the spread of COVID-19.

For Customers & Farm Share Members

According to the CDC, coronaviruses are generally thought to be spread from person-to-person through respiratory droplets. Currently there is no evidence to support transmission of COVID-19 associated with food. Regardless, we are taking the utmost precautions to assure that the food passing through our facility is safe. Additionally, We’ve established designated contactless pick-up for our farm share customers and our staff practice social distancing when delivering produce and can offer “no touch” deliveries.

For Makers

No more than two businesses can use the kitchen at one time and no more than four people can be in the kitchen at one time. Anyone entering the kitchen is required to self-screen prior to coming into the building and should not enter the building if they are sick, showing symptoms, or have been exposed to anyone who is sick or showing symptoms within the past 14 days. If you or someone in your household becomes ill within 14 days of your last visit to TGA you must report the illness to the kitchen manager so we can contact trace.

For Volunteers

We are still using volunteers in a limited capacity for box packing during the growing season. We are no longer hosting kitchen volunteers while our in-person cooking class programming is on pause. All volunteers should complete our self-screening, wear a mask, sign in, and sanitize hands upon entering the facility. We ask that volunteers maintain at least 6 feet of space at all times during their shifts. If you are interested in volunteering with us email [email protected]
