For Customers & Farm Share Members

According to the CDC, coronaviruses are generally thought to be spread from person-to-person through respiratory droplets. Currently there is no evidence to support transmission of COVID-19 associated with food. Regardless, we are taking the utmost precautions to assure that the food passing through our facility is safe. Additionally, We’ve established designated contactless pick-up for our farm share customers and our staff practice social distancing when delivering produce and can offer “no touch” deliveries.

For Makers

As of June 1, 2020 no more than two businesses can use the kitchen at one time and no more than eight people can be in the kitchen at one time. This means each user is allowed 4 bodies in their side of the kitchen including themselves. Anyone entering the kitchen is required to self-screen prior to coming into the building and should not enter the building if they are sick, showing symptoms, or have been exposed to anyone who is sick or showing symptoms of covid-19 within the past 14 days. If you or someone in your household becomes ill within 14 days of your last visit to TGA you must report the illness to the kitchen manager so we can contact trace. Vaccinated kitchen users are not required to wear masks, however, we strongly encourage those who are unvaccinated and/or immunocompromised to wear a mask in the kitchen and all public spaces within The Good Acre’s facility.

For Volunteers

We are still using volunteers in a limited capacity for box packing during the growing season. All volunteers should complete our self-screening, sign in, and sanitize hands upon entering the facility. We ask that all volunteers who are not vaccinated or who are immunocompromised wear masks and maintain at least 6 feet of space at all times during their shifts. If you are interested in volunteering with us email [email protected]
