2021 Season Preview

Join us for our second annual season preview, a virtual event that will give you an inside look at the climate and conditions local growers are facing this growing season. Our featured speakers include UMN Climatologist Mark Seeley, and The Good Acre’s Farm Program Director, David Van Eeckhout. Mark will kick things off with an in-depth look at current climate and weather trends and will share his farm-focused forecast for the growing season ahead. Next, David will talk about how farmers are getting prepared as the season transitions from spring to summer. The discussion will end with a Q&A session.

Class runs live on Thursday, May 13th from 5:30 – 6:30 p.m. CST and is free, with a suggested donation of $10 which you can make at checkout. Information on how to access this event via Zoom and a form to submit questions ahead of time will be sent to all who register. A recording of the class will also be sent to registrants on May 14th.
