Bistro Brunch

Give brunch some French bistro flair with new techniques and recipes in this hands on class with chef, and self-professed Francophile, Bret Bannon. You’ll learn the recipe for simple yet impressive French crêpes and try your hand at making them in a traditional crêpe pan. Add a seasonal fruit filling and “voilà!”. Then round out your meal by learning to poach eggs and serve them in a classic red wine sauce. You’ll leave class with new confidence in your techniques and delicious recipes you can recreate for your holiday brunch or on any Sunday morning- béret optional!

Class menu will include:
  • Crêpes with Sautéed Pears and Crème Fraîche
  • Oeufs en Meurette (Poached Eggs in Red Wine Sauce)
