The Bûche de Noël, or Yule Log, is a French Christmas tradition dating back to the 19th century. This woodland inspired dessert is made by rolling up a chocolate genoise (sponge) cake with luscious buttercream and completing the cake with fanciful meringue and marzipan decorations. In this hands on workshop with instructor Bret Bannon you’ll learn the proper planning, execution, and technique to turn out your very own masterpiece without fear. Make this Christmas the year you conquer the Bûche!
Class participants will take home their own half size completed cake.
