The Good Acre welcomes Goosefoot Kitchen founder Kristin Hamaker for the first class in the “Cooking Together” series, which will encapsulate her seasonal, simple, convivial approach to cooking. In the Goosefoot Kitchen, the motto is “Make, Eat, Share,” with good reason. When we come together in the kitchen, or over food, we are given a unique chance to connect. Consider this a fresh venue and opportunity for meeting and collaborating with others, all the while honing your cooking skills on a few seasonal, plant-based dishes. At the end of the night, we’ll gather at a long table and share our feast together. The menu will depend on what is freshest from local farmers, but in October, you can expect to work with a beautiful fall variety of produce, from squash to kale to onions.
