Creating a One-Page Business Plan & Licensing 101
March 3, 2021 @ 10:00 am - 12:30 pm
You’ve got your why, now where do you go from there? Building your business starts with a clear blueprint. Knowing who you are and where you want to go will help you stay on course as you navigate the next steps. In this virtual workshop, we’ll take the fear out of business plan writing by helping you to create a one-page plan designed to be a tool that you’ll actually use and come back to as you grow. The second part of this two-part workshop dives into the often complex world of food business licensing and regulation. We’ll break it down, clear the muddy waters, and tell you what you need for your own unique business. The workshop ends with an invaluable Q&A discussion with experts from TGA, AURI, and local shared-use kitchens.
This event is the second of a two-part series of virtual workshops called So You Want To Start A Food Business. Seeing the need for accessible and relevant information tailored to food makers in our community, The Good Acre in partnership with AURI, a nonprofit whose mission is to help Minnesota food and ag businesses bring their ideas to reality, developed So You Want To Start A Food Business. These workshops are designed to give small packaged food (CPG) businesses the education, support, and connection to resources they need to thrive.
