The holidays are always hectic but may end up being extra weird this year; smaller gatherings and last-minute surprises (both drop-ins and cancelations) seem likely. Staying flexible with menus and plans will help, so cocktail aficionado (and WCCO Meteorologist!) Mike Augustyniak designed a cocktail class for us with that in mind. Using some of the ingredients you already have in your fridge, and with a little prep work, he’ll show you how to make several cocktails that are perfect to serve to yourself or guests this holiday season. If your guests cancel last-minute, no problem; he’ll even show you how to re-purpose some of what you’ll make.
You’ll want the following items on hand to mix along with the class!
• Rye Whiskey
• Fresh egg white
• Fresh lemons
• Fresh or frozen raspberries -or- Raspberry jam
• Granulated white sugar
• Demerara or brown sugar
• Maple syrup (Grade B, if you happen to have it)
• Angostura Bitters
This event is FREE, with a $5 suggested donation which you can make at checkout.
Registered participants will be emailed details to join the class via Zoom the day before the class and again as a reminder 1 hour before class begins.
