Discover: “Wicked” Plants with Well Rooted Teas

Halloween is almost here so grab your broomstick and ride in on the cool breezes of autumn with haunting, mystical plant tales of the season. Join Rachel Banken of Well Rooted Teas as she shares tales of magic and folklore behind some of her favorite native plants. Peel back the layers and learn about the healing powers of wild plants and taste for yourselves how wickedly delicious these botanicals can be.

In this all-ages class, Rachel will discuss local foraging including where to find and how to identify plants, many of which she uses in her locally sourced herbal and botanical teas. She’ll share tales of the folklore surrounding them and explain their medicinal properties. Class participants will enjoy a variety of her caffeine-free teas along with a light snack and leave with a whole new appreciation for the magic growing in their own backyard….new tricks, new treats!!
