Egg x Plant: Fall Soups

Get ready for fall by learning an array of nourishing vegetarian soups. In this hands-on class, you’ll explore the four essential categories that make this classic, cold weather staple so exciting and satisfying: creamy, brothy, earthy, and hearty. You’ll learn basic skills to boost your soup game while welcoming the cold season in the best way possible–through food!

Class menu will include:

  • Minestrone–hearty
  • Curried Squash Soup–creamy
  • Egg Drop Soup–brothy
  • Harira (Moroccan chickpea & lentil soup traditionally eaten to break the fast during Ramadan)–earthy

About the Egg x Plant series: licensed dietitian Ranelle Kirchner (and good cook, to boot) will teach you the basics of vegetarian nutrition and show you how plant-based foods can both satiate your palate and bring variety to your life. So whether you an omnivore who wants to dip your toes fork in plant-based cooking, a vegan/vegetarian who wants to make sure you are covering all of your nutritional bases, or someone who just wants to learn some tasty plant-based recipes, this class if for you.
