Empanadas with Quebracho

Join Argentinian chef Belén Rodríguez, owner of the popular Minneapolis pop-up Quebracho, in this hands on class that’s all about her famous empanadas! With Belén as your expert guide you’ll learn to make empanada dough from scratch, cook a delicious vegetarian filling with mushrooms, rapini and Fontina cheese, and make traditional Argentinian chimichurri. You’ll stay busy crimping, baking, and finally sharing them together family style. You’ll have a chance to ask questions of Belén about empanadas, the delicious pies and charcuterie on Quebracho’s menu, and her Argentinian food philosophy. You will also go home with Belén’s latest rotating empanada recipe –a breakfast empanada!
