Gyoza: Japanese Dumplings

In this hands-on class, Chef Koshiki Smith of St. Paul’s dearly departed Tanpopo restaurant will teach you how to make your very own gyoza, which are delicious and savory Japanese dumplings that will be filled with locally-sourced ground pork, Napa cabbage, garlic chives, and ginger. Koshiki will guide you through mixing, rolling, and shaping the dough; stuffing the dumplings; and preparing the homemade ponzu dipping sauce. Then, you will pan-fry your beautifully shaped dumplings to golden perfection and enjoy them alongside steamed rice and kabocha squash.

Class menu will include:

  • Pork and Napa Cabbage Gyoza
  • Ponzu Sauce
  • Steamed Rice
  • Kabocha Squash
