Apple Harvest Dinner at Gibbs Farm

Fall is just around the corner and that means crisp evenings, beautiful colors, and crunchy sweet apples! Our last event of the year in our outdoor dinner series at Gibbs Farm is all about celebrating the fall apple harvest in conjunction with Apple Fest at Gibbs Farm! The evening will begin with tours of the historic site, a hidden gem of prairie and farmland just down the road from The Good Acre. Gibbs staff will be on hand to give you a walking tour and offer context on the food traditions of Minnesota’s past.  Then you’ll gather around with husband-and-wife dynamic duo, Joan and David Donatelle, as they prepare a delicious harvest menu, featuring recipes from Joan’s book Astonishing Apples. This  meal will feature cider pairings from Minneapolis Cider Company who will be on hand to share their apple knowledge while you enjoy the crisp evening air in the orchard.

This family-style dinner will include:

• Gingery Apple Chutney with Cheese
• Grilled Leg of Lamb
• Apple Panzanella
• Roasted Apples with Fingerling Potatoes
• Apple Crostata with Honey Caramel Sauce

Alcohol will be served at this event, so 21+ only, please. Please note, this event is at Gibbs Farm, not The Good Acre. Gibbs Farm is located at 2097 Larpenteur Ave W, St Paul, MN 55113. Plenty of parking is available!
