If variety is the spice of life, Thali is just that, a combination of various Nepalese dishes served on a platter together. In this hands on class with instructor Ishwari Rajak, you’ll learn to put together a flavorful, healthy, and hearty Thali like those served at a traditional Nepali dinner. You’ll cook and then enjoy a plate of tasty, and totally plant based, food including curry, chutney, rice, and accompaniments. You’ll also learn more about using spices and how you can experiment at home to make dishes to your taste.
Class menu will include:
- Aloo Bodi Tama Tarkari (Potato, Black Eyed Pea, and Bamboo Shoot Curry)
- Sautéed greens
- Aachar (Grilled Tomato Chutney)
- Rice and Papad (Papadum)
