Egg x Plant: Rhubarb-a-Rama

$45.00Rhubarb is a Minnesota specialty, found in abundance across the state (and perhaps in your backyard). But it’s typically used in sweets, which is only part of the fun. In this hands-on class, come and learn how to incorporate this herbaceous and tart perennial into savory dishes as a pickle, relish, and chutney. And, because there’s no denying that rhubarb is great in sweets, you’ll learn a unique spin on a classic pavlova with braised rhubarb for dessert.
Class menu will include:
- Grilled Cheese Sandwiches with Rhubarb Chutney
- Green Pea Croquettes with Rhubarb Relish
- Asparagus Salad with Pickled Rhubarb
- Pavlova of Chèvre Cream and Mezcal-Braised Rhubarb
