Sabor! Flavors of Portugal

Portuguese cuisine is so much more than the now-famous custard tarts known as pastéis de nata. Portugal has long been at the center of culinary crossroads due to the many centuries-old trade routes crossing the country. With its mixture of native staples like seafood, pork, fresh vegetables, and ingredients brought in from across the globe, Portuguese cuisine is full of unique and delicious flavors. In this hands-on class with chef and culinary instructor, Jessica Becker, you’ll explore classic flavors and recipes from Portugal to create a meal full of worldly “sabor”!
Class menu will include:
- Pastéis de Bacalhau e Camarões (Salt Cod and Shrimp Fritters)
- Feijoada Branch à Transmontana (White Beans, Pork and Sausage, Trás-os-Montes Style)
- Biscoitos Doces de Limão e Azeitonas Pretas (Sweet Lemon and Black Olive Wafers)
Note: Class will include an alcoholic beverage pairing, so 21+ only, please.
