Social Media for Food Businesses 101
November 10, 2021 @ 10:00 am - 11:00 am$25.00
If you are a local food maker looking to up your game on social media before the holidays, don’t miss this hour-long virtual workshop on Wednesday, November 10th at 10 am. The Good Acre’s Communications Director, Nikki Warner, begins the workshop with a discussion on how to develop your social media strategy, how to put that strategy into action, and how to make sure it’s working for you. You’ll also hear from Kristen Olson, owner of Quincy Street Kitchen, a full-service studio that focuses on strategy, content creation, and design specifically for food businesses. Kristen will talk about how best to promote your brand using photography and visuals that catch the eye and help to tell your story.
This workshop is designed for social media beginners, or for those looking for a refresher on the basics. The presentation will allow time for Q & A at the end. Participants will leave this workshop with valuable tips and resources to help leverage social media so that your brand stands out this holiday season and beyond.
Seeing the need for accessible and relevant information tailored to food makers in our community, The Good Acre in partnership with AURI, a nonprofit whose mission is to help Minnesota food and ag businesses bring their ideas to reality, developed So You Want To Start A Food Business. This series of workshops are designed to give small consumer packaged food (CPG) businesses the education, support, and connection to resources they need to thrive.
