Teen Camp: Turn Up the Heat (12+ years old)

Making the leap from simple cold dishes and snacks to using the stove and oven can be daunting for young aspiring cooks. Give your teen the confidence and skills to tackle that next level of cooking with this 2-day teen camp series on the basics of using heat to roast, grill, sauté, and braise. Culinary instructor Dina Berray from Upper Mississippi Academy will guide teens ages 12 and older through using heat safely and correctly in the kitchen to create delicious dishes from scratch for the whole family to enjoy.
- Day 1 – Roasting, Braising, Baking: Roast Chicken, Braised Cabbage, Fruit Galette
- Day 2 – Grilling, Steaming, Sautéing: Grilled veggies, Fish en Papillote, Sautéed Garlicky Greens
Please note that the $90 registration fee covers both classes in this series — August 20th and 21st.
