The Kid Friendly Kitchen

Whether your child is a foodie in training or has never stepped foot in the kitchen, getting kids involved in the kitchen is a great way to bring your family together to learn about and enjoy home cooked meals. This hands on class taught by Beth Jones, along with one of her own kids, is designed for you and your child to cook together. Beth will go over basics of sanitation, using knives safely (including easy things you can cut with a butter knife!), and cooking at the stove. The focus will be on relaxing in the kitchen and getting your kid involved–the more they help to cook it, the more likely they are to eat it!
Class menu will include:
- George’s Amazing Snack Platter with Veggies, Fruit, Cheese and other Surprises
- Beth’s Chili with Local Beans and Ferndale Market Turkey
Note: Each participant must purchase a ticket. Class participants must 9 years or older. Adults may bring up to 2 children per adult. All minors are required to have a parent/guardian sign a minor waiver at the start of class. If you are not the parent/guardian of the child you are attending with, please have the waiver signed before class. A link to the minor waiver is included in the confirmation email.
