Webinar will run 5:30 – 6:30pm on Monday, August 10th.

Laune Bread is a subscription-based micro-bakery based in Minneapolis. Their naturally leavened sourdough breads are whole grain focused and sourced primarily from Minnesota. They bake their bread with freshly milled local flour and rely on natural fermentation to turn out beautiful loaves of sourdough. A bit European, a bit west coast American, Laune Bread is committed to producing high quality, local, “slow” bread.

In this Zoom webinar, you’ll learn about the process of natural bread fermentation from Laune Bread bakers Chris MacLeod and Tiff Singh. They’ll discuss choosing the right flours, maintaining a sourdough culture, understanding hydration, and what their fermentation style is and why. You’ll have a chance to ask your sourdough questions, watch live video of them mixing and shaping loaves, and learn more about their local company.

You have the option to add a sourdough starter kit to your order, the kits will be available to pick  up at The Good Acre from 11am  – 3pm on  Monday the 10th and 11a – 6pm on Wednesday the 12th.

Suggested donation for the webinar: $10. Donations can be made at checkout.

*Registered participants will be emailed details to join the class via Zoom the day before the class and again as a reminder 1 hour before class begins.
