Farm Share Field Trip – with Mill City Farmers Market

$15.00

SKU: FS-Field-Trip-MCFM Categories: Farm Share, Store Items

Join us for a behind-the-scenes tour of the Mill City Farmers Market on Saturday, June 25th starting promptly at 7:30 am.

The Mill City Farmers Market (MCFM) has been a staple of the Twin Cities food system for nearly two decades, providing market opportunities for small food businesses and farmers alike. We will start the tour before the market begins by visiting with two vendors. Learn about their businesses, how the market impacts their operations, and through their stories learn about the link between TGA and the market. Next, we’ll be joined by MCFM Executive Director, Martha Archer, who will give a tour of the rest of the market while sharing the history of MCFM and its impact. Guests will also receive a market guide highlighting vendors that are part of The Good Acre network.

This event is open to all ages, please include the age(s) of children in your checkout notes.

The event will be on June 25th from 7:30-8:30 AM at the Mill City Farmers Market. Metered parking is available on the street and at the Mill Quarter Parking Ramp located at 711 S 2nd St, Minneapolis, MN 55415.
