Can ’em, sauce ’em, freeze ’em – however you process these tomatoes, you’re sure to thank yourself come January when there’s not a locally-grown tomato in sight. These are perfectly ripe slicers, grown by Open Hands just outside Northfield. Some boxes may contain heirloom varieties.
These are sold in 20-lb cases – order as many as you’ll use, or split with a friend! Please order by Sunday night (September 3rd) so I can get the order to the farmer. Tomato orders will go out with farm share boxes on Wednesday/Thursday. Questions? Email karin@thegoodacre.org.
