Andrew is passionate about empowering farmers with the information they need to be successful. Before starting at The Good Acre, Andrew worked as a Community Food systems specialist and SARE state coordinator with the University of Wisconsin Cooperative Extension. As a part of his role at UW-Extension, he assisted colleagues with grant writing and managed budgets for several program areas.
Here at The Good Acre, Andrew puts his experience to good use helping us to secure grant funding, overseeing organizational finances, and engaging with community partners to make sure that resources and educational opportunities are available for beginning and underserved farmers in the Midwest.
Andrew loves to get his hands dirty in his own garden at home with his family. He also enjoys playing old-time music on his banjo and making home-cooked meals to share with friends and family.
